When we were at WPPI 2012 in Las Vegas this past month we had the opportunity to chat with Larry Adams, Sr. VP. at Storefront.com. Storefront provides photo kiosk software and turnkey solutions that can help generate additional revenue at your next photography event.
You’ve heard the saying “Strike while the iron is hot”, well there is no better time to sell your images than at the time of the event. Sure the people that hire you will most likely purchase prints and products from you, but what about the attendees?
By uploading some of your images to the kiosk at the event, attendees will be able to purchase and print photos on-the-fly, thus generating revenue from those who most likely would have never purchased from you.
Additionally, attendees could upload their images as well. Sure they may not be professional grade but that doesn’t mean they aren’t good. Others may enjoy having those raw candid shots of their friends and family that you may have missed. Best of all, you can make a few dollars off prints from their images as well. It’s a win, win for everyone!
You can learn more about what Storefront.com has to offer from the videos below and be sure to check them out on Twitter and Facebook. We’d also like to give a big thanks to Georgia McCabe for joining us at the booth and creating such a great presentation.
